Here at Rainbow Bedfordshire, we want to make sure everyone feels welcome and included. We understand that many LGBTQ+ spaces are not easily accessible to those with disabilities, so we're doing our best to change that!

To ensure that our event is accessible to all, we've made sure that most of the event spaces are on the ground floor. We also have quiet spaces, one at ground level and another accessed by a stairlift.

We're aware of hidden disabilities and understand that some people might be wearing a sunflower lanyard to indicate this. If you need support that may not be visible to others, don't worry - we've got your back.

we will have a small number of ear defenders for people to use as well as fidget toys for people to use.

We've teamed up with Access Bedford, a local organization that supports people who are deaf and hard of hearing.
They'll be providing British Sign Language interpretation of the performances and offering support throughout the day.
If you ever feel overwhelmed and need a break, we'll have a quiet room available for you.
Additionally, there will be a disabled toilet on site for your convenience, as well as Disabled Parking.

We're committed to making this event as inclusive and accessible as possible, and we can't wait to see you there!
